For those who don’t know, dailyui.co is a site that promises you that you can “become a better designer in 100 days.” They send you a daily prompt and you crank out a design for 100 weekdays straight. Honestly, only a few people really does the 100 designs and I'm part of it. But the most important thing in my opinion is not to do everything, but to practice regularly.
"Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better."
I have always been convinced that in order to exercise a creative profession, it is essential to train every day, to question oneself, to learn, to accept criticism and, above all, to fail. Accepting not being the best in everything, is in my opinion one of the most useful qualities for a designer because it works as a motor to stay motivated, passionate and curious.
I don't only use dailyui.co to improve my skills, I do a lot of different things to keep creating as often as possible. I read a lot of books about design, UX design, methods or research, even psychology. I also love doing online training and follow webinars.
Here are some stuff that I did using dailyui.co and also some small drawings that I made taking as an idea the combination of two random words. I laughed a lot in making these drawings, I admit.
